The remnant sh'eriyth (sheh-ay-reeth') a remainder or residual (surviving, final) portion -- that had escaped, be left, posterity, remain(-der), remnant, residue, rest. of Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. shall not do `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application iniquity `evel (eh'-vel) (moral) evil -- iniquity, perverseness, unjust(-ly), unrighteousness(-ly); wicked(-ness). nor speak dabar (daw-bar') perhaps properly, to arrange; but used figuratively (of words), to speak; rarely (in a destructive sense) to subdue lies kazab (kaw-zawb') falsehood; literally (untruth) or figuratively (idol) -- deceitful, false, leasing, + liar, lie, lying. neither shall a deceitful tormah (tor-maw') fraud -- deceit(-ful), privily. tongue lashown (law-shone') the tongue (of man or animals), used literally (as the instrument of licking, eating, or speech), and figuratively (speech, an ingot, a fork of flame, a cove of water) be found matsa' (maw-tsaw') to come forth to, i.e. appear or exist; transitively, to attain, i.e. find or acquire; figuratively, to occur, meet or be present in their mouth peh (peh) the mouth (as the means of blowing), whether literal or figurative (particularly speech); specifically edge, portion or side; adverbially (with preposition) according to for they shall feed ra`ah (raw-aw') to tend a flock; i.e. pasture it; intransitively, to graze; generally to rule; by extension, to associate with (as a friend) and lie down rabats (raw-bats') to crouch (on all four legs folded, like a recumbent animal); be implication, to recline, repose, brood, lurk, imbed and none shall make them afraid charad (khaw-rad') to shudder with terror; hence, to fear; also to hasten (with anxiety) -- be (make) afraid, be careful, discomfit, fray (away), quake, tremble. |
