In that day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), shalt thou not be ashamed buwsh (boosh) to pale, i.e. by implication to be ashamed; also (by implication) to be disappointed or delayed for all thy doings `aliylah (al-ee-law') an exploit (of God), or a performance (of man, often in a bad sense); by implication, an opportunity -- act(-ion), deed, doing, invention, occasion, work. wherein thou hast transgressed pasha` (paw-shah') to break away (from just authority), i.e. trespass, apostatize, quarrel -- offend, rebel, revolt, transgress(-ion, -or). against me for then I will take away cuwr (soor) to turn off (literal or figurative) out of the midst qereb (keh'-reb) the nearest part, i.e. the center, whether literal, figurative or adverbial (especially with preposition) of thee them that rejoice `alliyz (al-leez') exultant -- joyous, (that) rejoice(-ing) in thy pride ga`avah (gah-av-aw') arrogance or majesty; by implication, (concretely) ornament -- excellency, haughtiness, highness, pride, proudly, swelling. and thou shalt no more yacaph (yaw-saf') to add or augment (often adverbial, to continue to do a thing) be haughty gabahh (gaw-bah') to soar, i.e. be lofty; figuratively, to be haughty -- exalt, be haughty, be (make) high(-er), lift up, mount up, be proud, raise up great height, upward.; because of my holy qodesh (ko'-desh) a sacred place or thing; rarely abstract, sanctity -- consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (most) holy (day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary. mountain har (har) a mountain or range of hills (sometimes used figuratively) -- hill (country), mount(-ain), promotion. |
