And it shall come to pass in that day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), that the prophets nabiy' (naw-bee') a prophet or (generally) inspired man -- prophecy, that prophesy, prophet. shall be ashamed buwsh (boosh) to pale, i.e. by implication to be ashamed; also (by implication) to be disappointed or delayed every one 'iysh (eesh) a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation) of his vision chizzayown (khiz-zaw-yone') a revelation, expectation by dream -- vision. when he hath prophesied naba' (naw-baw') to prophesy, i.e. speak (or sing) by inspiration (in prediction or simple discourse) -- prophesy(-ing), make self a prophet. neither shall they wear labash (law-bash') wrap around, i.e. (by implication) to put on a garment or clothe (oneself, or another), literally or figuratively a rough se`ar (say-awr') hair (as if tossed or bristling) -- hair(-y), rough. garment 'addereth (ad-deh'-reth) something ample (as a large vine, a wide dress) -- garment, glory, goodly, mantle, robe. to deceive kachash (kaw-khash') to be untrue, in word (to lie, feign, disown) or deed (to disappoint, fail, cringe) |
