In that day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), will I make suwm (soom) to put (used in a great variety of applications, literal, figurative, inferentially, and elliptically)wholly, work. the governors 'alluwph (al-loof') familiar; a friend, also gentle; hence, a bullock (as being tame; applied, although masculine, to a cow); and so, a chieftain (as notable, like neat cattle) of Judah Yhuwdah (yeh-hoo-daw') celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory -- Judah. like an hearth kiyowr (kee-yore') hearth, laver, pan, scaffold. of fire 'esh (aysh) fire -- burning, fiery, fire, flaming, hot. among the wood `ets (ates) a tree (from its firmness); hence, wood (plural sticks) -- + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood. and like a torch lappiyd (lap-peed') from an unused root probably meaning to shine; a flambeau, lamp or flame -- (fire-)brand, (burning) lamp, lightning, torch. of fire 'esh (aysh) fire -- burning, fiery, fire, flaming, hot. in a sheaf `amiyr (aw-meer') a bunch of grain -- handful, sheaf. and they shall devour 'akal (aw-kal') to eat -- at all, burn up, consume, devour(-er, up), dine, eat(-er, up), feed (with), food, freely, in...wise(-deed, plenty), (lay) meat, quite. all the people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. round about cabiyb (saw-beeb') (as noun) a circle, neighbour, or environs; but chiefly (as adverb, with or without preposition) around -- (place, round) about, circuit, compass, on every side. on the right hand yamiyn (yaw-meen') the right hand or side (leg, eye) of a person or other object (as the stronger and more dexterous); locally, the south -- + left-handed, right (hand, side), south. and on the left smo'wl (sem-ole') dark (as enveloped), i.e. the north; hence (by orientation), the left hand -- left (hand, side). and Jerusalem Yruwshalaim (yer-oo-shaw-lah'-im) founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine -- Jerusalem. shall be inhabited yashab (yaw-shab') to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry again in her own place even in Jerusalem Yruwshalaim (yer-oo-shaw-lah'-im) founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine -- Jerusalem. |
