In that day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), saith n'um (neh-oom') an oracle -- (hath) said, saith. the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. I will smite nakah (naw-kaw') to strike (lightly or severely, literally or figuratively) every horse cuwc (soos) from an unused root meaning to skip (properly, for joy); a horse (as leaping); also a swallow (from its rapid flight) -- crane, horse(-back, -hoof). with astonishment timmahown (tim-maw-hone') consternation -- astonishment. and his rider rakab (raw-kab') to ride (on an animal or in a vehicle); causatively, to place upon (for riding or generally), to despatch with madness shigga`own (shig-gaw-yone') craziness -- furiously, madness. and I will open paqach (paw-kakh') to open (the senses, especially the eyes); figuratively, to be observant -- open. mine eyes `ayin (ah'-yin) an eye; by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape) upon the house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) of Judah Yhuwdah (yeh-hoo-daw') celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory -- Judah. and will smite nakah (naw-kaw') to strike (lightly or severely, literally or figuratively) every horse cuwc (soos) from an unused root meaning to skip (properly, for joy); a horse (as leaping); also a swallow (from its rapid flight) -- crane, horse(-back, -hoof). of the people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. with blindness `ivvarown (iv-vaw-rone') blindness -- blind(-ness). |
