If she be a wall chowmah (kho-maw') a wall of protection -- wall, walled. we will build banah (baw-naw') to build (literally and figuratively) -- (begin to) build(-er), obtain children, make, repair, set (up), surely. upon her a palace tiyrah (tee-raw') a wall; hence, a fortress or a hamlet -- (goodly) castle, habitation, palace, row. of silver keceph (keh'-sef) silver (from its pale color); by implication, money -- money, price, silver(-ling). and if she be a door deleth (deh'-leth) something swinging, i.e. the valve of a door -- door (two-leaved), gate, leaf, lid. (In Psa. 141:3, dal, irreg.). we will inclose tsuwr (tsoor) to cramp, i.e. confine (in many applications, literally and figuratively, formative or hostile) her with boards luwach (loo'-akh) probably meaning to glisten; a tablet (as polished), of stone, wood or metal -- board, plate, table. of cedar 'erez (eh-rez') a cedar tree (from the tenacity of its roots) -- cedar (tree). |
