By night layil (lah'-yil) a twist (away of the light), i.e. night; figuratively, adversity -- (mid-)night (season). on my bed mishkab (mish-kawb') a bed (figuratively, a bier); abstractly, sleep; by euphemism, carnal intercourse -- bed(-chamber), couch, lieth (lying) with.
