For the needy 'ebyown (eb-yone') destitute -- beggar, needy, poor (man). shall not alway netsach (neh'-tsakh) a goal, i.e. the bright object at a distance travelled towards; hence (figuratively), splendor, or (subjectively) truthfulness, or (objectively) confidence; but usually (adverbially), continually (i.e. to the most distant point of view) be forgotten shakach (shaw-kakh') to mislay, i.e. to be oblivious of, from want of memory or attention -- at all, (cause to) forget. the expectation tiqvah (tik-vaw') literally, a cord (as an attachment); figuratively, expectancy -- expectation (-ted), hope, live, thing that I long for. of the poor `aniy (aw-nee') depressed, in mind or circumstances -- afflicted, humble, lowly, needy, poor. `anav (aw-nawv') depressed (figuratively), in mind (gentle) or circumstances (needy, especially saintly) -- humble, lowly, meek, poor. shall not perish 'abad (aw-bad') to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative, destroy) for ever `ad (ad) a (peremptory) terminus, i.e. (by implication) duration, in the sense of advance or perpetuity (substantially as a noun, either with or without a preposition) |
