The LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. is my light 'owr (ore) illumination or (concrete) luminary (in every sense, including lightning, happiness, etc.) -- bright, clear, + day, light (-ning), morning, sun. and my salvation yesha` (yeh'-shah) liberty, deliverance, prosperity -- safety, salvation, saving. whom shall I fear yare' (yaw-ray') to fear; morally, to revere; caus. to frighten the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. is the strength ma`owz (maw-oze') a fortified place; figuratively, a defence -- force, fort(-ress), rock, strength(-en), (most) strong (hold). of my life chay (khah'-ee) age, alive, appetite, (wild) beast, company, congregation, life(-time), live(-ly), living (creature, thing), maintenance, + merry, multitude, + (be) old, quick, raw, running, springing, troop. of whom shall I be afraid pachad (paw-kkad') to be startled (by a sudden alarm); hence, to fear in general -- be afraid, stand in awe, (be in) fear, make to shake. |
