I will call qara' (kaw-raw') to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications) upon the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. who is worthy to be praised halal (haw-lal') to be clear (orig. of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence, to make a show, to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively, to celebrate; also to stultify so shall I be saved yasha` (yaw-shah') to be open, wide or free, i.e. (by implication) to be safe; causatively, to free or succor from mine enemies 'oyeb (o-yabe') hating; an adversary -- enemy, foe. |
