Lest they drink shathah (shaw-thaw') to imbibe -- assuredly, banquet, certainly, drink(-er, -ing), drunk (-ard), surely. and forget shakach (shaw-kakh') to mislay, i.e. to be oblivious of, from want of memory or attention -- at all, (cause to) forget. the law chaqaq (khaw-kak') to hack, i.e. engrave (Judges 5:14, to be a scribe simply); by implication, to enact (laws being cut in stone or metal tablets in primitive times) or (gen.) prescribe and pervert shanah (shaw-naw') to fold, i.e. duplicate; by implication, to transmute (transitive or intransitive) the judgment duwn (doon) judgement (the suit, justice, sentence or tribunal); by impl. also strife -- cause, judgement, plea, strife. of any of the afflicted ben (bane) a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc. `oniy (on-ee') depression, i.e. misery -- afflicted(-ion), trouble. |
