She riseth quwm (koom) to rise (in various applications, literal, figurative, intensive and causative) also while it is yet night layil (lah'-yil) a twist (away of the light), i.e. night; figuratively, adversity -- (mid-)night (season). and giveth nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) meat tereph (teh'-ref) something torn, i.e. a fragment, e.g. a fresh leaf, prey, food -- leaf, meat, prey, spoil. to her household bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) and a portion choq (khoke) an enactment; hence, an appointment (of time, space, quantity, labor or usage) to her maidens na`arah (nah-ar-aw') a girl (from infancy to adolescence) -- damsel, maid(-en), young (woman). |
