He that blesseth barak (baw-rak') to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason) his friend rea` (ray'-ah) an associate (more or less close) -- brother, companion, fellow, friend, husband, lover, neighbour, (an-)other. with a loud gadowl (gaw-dole') great (in any sense); hence, older; also insolent voice qowl (kole) from an unused root meaning to call aloud; a voice or sound rising early shakam (shaw-kam') to load up (on the back of man or beast), i.e. to start early in the morning -- (arise, be up, get (oneself) up, rise up) early (betimes), morning. in the morning boqer (bo'-ker) dawn (as the break of day); generally, morning -- (+) day, early, morning, morrow. it shall be counted chashab (khaw-shab') to plait or interpenetrate, i.e. (literally) to weave or (gen.) to fabricate; figuratively, to plot or contrive (usually in a malicious sense); hence (from the mental effort) to think, regard, value, compute a curse qlalah (kel-aw-law') vilification -- (ac-)curse(-d, -ing). to him |
