The wrath chemah (khay-maw') heat; figuratively, anger, poison (from its fever) -- anger, bottles, hot displeasure, furious(-ly, -ry), heat, indignation, poison, rage, wrath(-ful). of a king melek (meh'-lek) a king -- king, royal. is as messengers mal'ak (mal-awk') a messenger; specifically, of God, i.e. an angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher) -- ambassador, angel, king, messenger. of death maveth (maw'-veth) death (natural or violent); concretely, the dead, their place or state (hades); figuratively, pestilence, ruin -- (be) dead(-ly), death, die(-d). but a wise chakam (khaw-kawm') wise, (i.e. intelligent, skilful or artful) -- cunning (man), subtil, (un-), wise(hearted), man). man 'iysh (eesh) a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation) will pacify kaphar (kaw-far') to cover (specifically with bitumen); figuratively, to expiate or condone, to placate or cance it |
