Behold the righteous tsaddiyq (tsad-deek') just -- just, lawful, righteous (man). shall be recompensed shalam (shaw-lam') to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively, to be (causatively, make) completed; by implication, to be friendly; by extension, to reciprocate in the earth 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. much more the wicked rasha` (raw-shaw') morally wrong; concretely, an (actively) bad person -- + condemned, guilty, ungodly, wicked (man), that did wrong. and the sinner chata' (khaw-taw') to miss; hence (figuratively and generally) to sin; by inference, to forfeit, lack, expiate, repent, (causatively) lead astray, condemn |
