As vinegar chomets (kho'-mets) vinegar -- vinegar. to the teeth shen (shane) a tooth (as sharp); specifically ivory; figuratively, a cliff -- crag, forefront, ivory, sharp, tooth. and as smoke `ashan (aw-shawn') smoke, literally or figuratively (vapor, dust, anger) -- smoke(-ing). to the eyes `ayin (ah'-yin) an eye; by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape) so is the sluggard `atsel (aw-tsale') indolent -- slothful, sluggard. to them that send shalach (shaw-lakh') to send away, for, or out (in a great variety of applications) him |
