Ye shall have one 'echad (ekh-awd') united, i.e. one; or (as an ordinal) first law towrah (to-raw') a precept or statute, especially the Decalogue or Pentateuch -- law. for him that sinneth `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application through ignorance shgagah (sheg-aw-gaw') a mistake or inadvertent transgression -- error, ignorance, at unawares; unwittingly. both for him that is born 'ezrach (ez-rawkh') a spontaneous growth, i.e. native (tree or persons) -- bay tree, (home-)born (in the land), of the (one's own) country (nation). among the children ben (bane) a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc. of Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. and for the stranger ger (gare) a guest; by implication, a foreigner -- alien, sojourner, stranger. that sojourneth guwr (goor) to turn aside from the road (for a lodging or any other purpose), i.e. sojourn (as a guest); also to shrink, fear (as in a strange place); also to gather for hostility (as afraid) among tavek (taw'-vek) a bisection, i.e. (by implication) the centre -- among(-st), between, half, (there-,where-), in(-to), middle, mid(-night), midst (among), out (of), through, with(-in). them |
