And that we should bring bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) the firstfruits re'shiyth (ray-sheeth') the first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically, a firstfruit) -- beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing. of our dough `ariycah (ar-ee-saw') meal -- dough. and our offerings truwmah (ter-oo-maw') a present (as offered up), especially in sacrifice or as tribute -- gift, heave offering (shoulder), oblation, offered(-ing). and the fruit priy (per-ee') fruit -- bough, (first-) fruit(-ful), reward. of all manner of trees `ets (ates) a tree (from its firmness); hence, wood (plural sticks) -- + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood. of wine tiyrowsh (tee-roshe') must or fresh grape-juice (as just squeezed out); by implication (rarely) fermented wine -- (new, sweet) wine. and of oil yitshar (yits-hawr') oil (as producing light); figuratively, anointing -- + anointed oil. unto the priests kohen (ko-hane') literally, one officiating, a priest; also (by courtesy) an acting priest (although a layman) -- chief ruler, own, priest, prince, principal officer. to the chambers lishkah (lish-kaw') a room in a building (whether for storage, eating, or lodging) -- chamber, parlour. of the house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) of our God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. and the tithes ma`aser (mah-as-ayr') a tenth; especially a tithe -- tenth (part), tithe(-ing). of our ground 'adamah (ad-aw-maw') soil (from its general redness) -- country, earth, ground, husband(-man) (-ry), land. unto the Levites Leviyiy (lay-vee-ee') a Levite or descendant of Levi -- Leviite. that the same Levites Leviyiy (lay-vee-ee') a Levite or descendant of Levi -- Leviite. might have the tithes `asar (aw-sar') to accumulate; to tithe, i.e. to take or give a tenth -- surely, give (take) the tenth, (have, take) tithe(-ing, -s), truly. in all the cities `iyr (eer) or (in the plural) par {awr}; or ayar (Judges 10:4) {aw-yar'}; a city (a place guarded by waking or a watch) in the widest sense (even of a mere encampment or post) -- Ai (from margin), city, court (from margin), town. of our tillage `abodah (ab-o-daw') work of any kind -- act, bondage, + bondservant, effect, labour, ministering(-try), office, service(-ile, -itude), tillage, use, work, wrought. |
