For the shewbread ma`areketh (mah-ar-eh'-keth) an arrangement, i.e. (concretely) a pile (of loaves) -- row, shewbread. lechem (lekh'-em) food (for man or beast), especially bread, or grain (for making it) -- (shew-)bread, eat, food, fruit, loaf, meat, victuals. and for the continual tamiyd (taw-meed') continuance (as indefinite extension); but used only (attributively as adjective) constant (or adverbially, constantly); ellipt. the regular (daily) sacrifice meat offering minchah (min-khaw') a donation; euphemistically, tribute; specifically a sacrificial offering (usually bloodless and voluntary) -- gift, oblation, (meat) offering, present, sacrifice. and for the continual tamiyd (taw-meed') continuance (as indefinite extension); but used only (attributively as adjective) constant (or adverbially, constantly); ellipt. the regular (daily) sacrifice burnt offering `olah (o-law') a step or (collectively, stairs, as ascending); usually a holocaust (as going up in smoke) -- ascent, burnt offering (sacrifice), go up to. of the sabbaths shabbath (shab-bawth') intermission, i.e (specifically) the Sabbath -- (+ every) sabbath. of the new moons chodesh (kho'-desh) the new moon; by implication, a month -- month(-ly), new moon. for the set feasts mow`ed (mo-ade') appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn(-ity), synogogue, (set) time (appointed). and for the holy qodesh (ko'-desh) a sacred place or thing; rarely abstract, sanctity -- consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (most) holy (day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary. things and for the sin offerings chatta'ah (khat-taw-aw') an offence (sometimes habitual sinfulness), and its penalty, occasion, sacrifice, or expiation; also (concretely) an offender to make an atonement kaphar (kaw-far') to cover (specifically with bitumen); figuratively, to expiate or condone, to placate or cance for Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. and for all the work mla'kah (mel-aw-kaw') deputyship, i.e. ministry; generally, employment (never servile) or work (abstractly or concretely); also property (as the result of labor) of the house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) of our God 'elohiym (el-o-heem') angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty. |
