The chariots rekeb (reh'-keb) a vehicle; by implication, a team; by extension, cavalry; by analogy a rider, i.e. the upper millstone -- chariot, (upper) millstone, multitude (from the margin), wagon. shall rage halal (haw-lal') to be clear (orig. of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence, to make a show, to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively, to celebrate; also to stultify in the streets chuwts (khoots) abroad, field, forth, highway, more, out(-side, -ward), street, without. they shall justle one against another shaqaq (shaw-kak') to course (like a beast of prey); by implication, to seek greedily -- have appetite, justle one against another, long, range, run (to and fro). in the broad ways rchob (rekh-obe') a width, i.e. (concretely) avenue or area -- broad place (way), street. they shall seem mar'eh (mar-eh') a view (the act of seeing); also an appearance (the thing seen), whether (real) a shape (especially if handsome, comeliness; often plural the looks), or (mental) a vision like torches lappiyd (lap-peed') from an unused root probably meaning to shine; a flambeau, lamp or flame -- (fire-)brand, (burning) lamp, lightning, torch. they shall run ruwts (roots) to run (for whatever reason, especially to rush) -- break down, divide speedily, footman, guard, bring hastily, (make) run (away, through), post. like the lightnings baraq (baw-rawk') lightning; by analogy, a gleam; concretely, a flashing sword -- bright, glitter(-ing sword), lightning. |
