And that I also have walked yalak (yaw-lak') to walk; causatively, to carry (in various senses) contrary qriy (ker-ee') hostile encounter -- contrary. unto them and have brought bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) them into the land 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. of their enemies 'oyeb (o-yabe') hating; an adversary -- enemy, foe. if then 'ow (o) desire (and so probably in Prov. 31:4); hence (by way of alternative) or, also if -- also, and, either, if, at the least, nor, or, otherwise, then, whether. their uncircumcised `arel (aw-rale') exposed, i.e. projecting loose (as to the prepuce); used only technically, uncircumcised (i.e. still having the prepuce uncurtailed) -- uncircumcised (person). hearts lebab (lay-bawb') the heart (as the most interior organ) be humbled kana` (kaw-nah') to bend the knee; hence, to humiliate, vanquish -- bring down (low), into subjection, under, humble (self), subdue. and they then accept ratsah (raw-tsaw') to be pleased with; specifically, to satisfy a debt of the punishment of their iniquity `avon (aw-vone') perversity, i.e. (moral) evil -- fault, iniquity, mischeif, punishment (of iniquity), sin. |
