But the houses bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) of the villages chatser (khaw-tsare') a yard (as inclosed by a fence); also a hamlet (as similarly surrounded with walls) -- court, tower, village. which have no wall chowmah (kho-maw') a wall of protection -- wall, walled. round about cabiyb (saw-beeb') (as noun) a circle, neighbour, or environs; but chiefly (as adverb, with or without preposition) around -- (place, round) about, circuit, compass, on every side. them shall be counted chashab (khaw-shab') to plait or interpenetrate, i.e. (literally) to weave or (gen.) to fabricate; figuratively, to plot or contrive (usually in a malicious sense); hence (from the mental effort) to think, regard, value, compute as the fields sadeh (saw-deh') from an unused root meaning to spread out; a field (as flat) -- country, field, ground, land, soil, wild. of the country 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. they may be redeemed gullah (gheh-ool-law') redemption (including the right and the object); by implication, relationship -- kindred, redeem, redemption, right. and they shall go out yatsa' (yaw-tsaw') to go (causatively, bring) out, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, direct and proxim. in the jubile yowbel (yo-bale') the blast of a horn (from its continuous sound); specifically, the signal of the silver trumpets; hence, the instrument itself and the festival thus introduced |
