When a bullock showr (shore) a bullock (as a traveller) -- bull(-ock), cow, ox or a sheep keseb (keh'-seb) a young sheep -- lamb. or a goat `ez (aze) a she-goat (as strong), but masculine in plural (which also is used ellipt. for goat's hair) -- (she) goat, kid. is brought forth yalad (yaw-lad') to bear young; causatively, to beget; medically, to act as midwife; specifically, to show lineage then it shall be seven sheba` (sheh'-bah) a primitive cardinal number; seven (as the sacred full one); also (adverbially) seven times; by implication, a week; by extension, an indefinite number days yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), under the dam 'em (ame) a mother (as the bond of the family); in a wide sense (both literally and figuratively) -- dam, mother, parting. and from the eighth shmiyniy (shem-ee-nee') eight -- eight. day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), and thenceforth halah (haw-leh-aw') to the distance, i.e. far away; also (of time) thus far -- back, beyond, (hence,-)forward, hitherto, thence,forth, yonder. it shall be accepted ratsah (raw-tsaw') to be pleased with; specifically, to satisfy a debt for an offering qorban (kor-bawn') something brought near the altar, i.e. a sacrificial present -- oblation, that is offered, offering. made by fire 'ishshah (ish-shaw') a burnt-offering; but occasionally of any sacrifice -- (offering, sacrifice), (made) by fire. unto the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. |
