And when ye reap qatsar (kaw-tsar') to dock off, i.e. curtail (transitive or intransitive, literal or figurative); especially to harvest (grass or grain) the harvest qatsiyr (kaw-tseer') severed, i.e. harvest (as reaped), the crop, the time, the reaper, or figuratively; also a limb (of a tree, or simply foliage) -- bough, branch, harvest (man). of your land 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. thou shalt not wholly reap kalah (kaw-law') to end, whether intransitive (to cease, be finished, perish) or transitived (to complete, prepare, consume) the corners pe'ah (pay-aw') mouth in a figurative sense, i.e. direction, region, extremity -- corner, end, quarter, side. of thy field sadeh (saw-deh') from an unused root meaning to spread out; a field (as flat) -- country, field, ground, land, soil, wild. neither shalt thou gather laqat (law-kat') to pick up, i.e. (generally) to gather; specifically, to glean -- gather (up), glean. the gleanings leqet (leh'-ket) the gleaning -- gleaning. of thy harvest qatsiyr (kaw-tseer') severed, i.e. harvest (as reaped), the crop, the time, the reaper, or figuratively; also a limb (of a tree, or simply foliage) -- bough, branch, harvest (man). |
