(as follows) the person paniym (paw-neem') the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.) of the poor dal (dal) dangling, i.e. (by implication) weak or thin -- lean, needy, poor (man), weaker. nor honour hadar (haw-dar') to swell up (literally or figuratively, active or passive); by implication, to favor or honour, be high or proud -- countenance, crooked place, glorious, honour, put forth. the person paniym (paw-neem') the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.) of the mighty gadowl (gaw-dole') great (in any sense); hence, older; also insolent but in righteousness tsedeq (tseh'-dek) the right (natural, moral or legal); also (abstractly) equity or (figuratively) prosperity -- even, (that which is altogether) just(-ice), (un-)right(-eous) (cause, -ly, -ness). shalt thou judge shaphat (shaw-fat') to judge, i.e. pronounce sentence (for or against); by implication, to vindicate or punish; by extenssion, to govern; passively, to litigate thy neighbour `amiyth (aw-meeth') companionship; hence (concretely) a comrade or kindred man -- another, fellow, neighbour. |
