Also thou shalt not approach qarab (kaw-rab') to approach (causatively, bring near) for whatever purpose unto a woman 'ishshah (ish-shaw') irregular plural, nashiym {naw-sheem'}; a woman to uncover galah (gaw-law') to denude (especially in a disgraceful sense); by implication, to exile (captives being usually stripped); figuratively, to reveal her nakedness `ervah (er-vaw') nudity, literally (especially the pudenda) or figuratively (disgrace, blemish) -- nakedness, shame, unclean(-ness). as long as she is put apart niddah (nid-daw') rejection; by implication, impurity, especially personal (menstruation) or moral (idolatry, incest) for her uncleanness tum'ah (toom-aw') religious impurity -- filthiness, unclean(-ness). |
