And Aaron 'Aharown (a-har-one') Aharon, the brother of Moses -- Aaron. shall offer qarab (kaw-rab') to approach (causatively, bring near) for whatever purpose his bullock par (par) a bullock (apparently as breaking forth in wild strength, or perhaps as dividing the hoof) -- (young) bull(-ock), calf, ox. of the sin offering chatta'ah (khat-taw-aw') an offence (sometimes habitual sinfulness), and its penalty, occasion, sacrifice, or expiation; also (concretely) an offender which is for himself b`ad (beh-ad') in up to or over against; generally at, beside, among, behind, for, etc. -- about, at by (means of), for, over, through, up (-on), within. and make an atonement kaphar (kaw-far') to cover (specifically with bitumen); figuratively, to expiate or condone, to placate or cance for himself and for his house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) |
