Then the priest kohen (ko-hane') literally, one officiating, a priest; also (by courtesy) an acting priest (although a layman) -- chief ruler, own, priest, prince, principal officer. shall come bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) and look ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions. and behold if the plague nega` (neh'-gah) a blow (figuratively, infliction); also (by implication) a spot (concretely, a leprous person or dress) -- plague, sore, stricken, stripe, stroke, wound. be spread pasah (paw-saw') to spread -- spread. in the house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) it is a fretting ma'ar (maw-ar') to be bitter or (causatively) to embitter, i.e. be painful -- fretting, picking. leprosy tsara`ath (tsaw-rah'-ath) leprosy -- leprosy. in the house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) it is unclean tame' (taw-may') foul in a relig. sense -- defiled, + infamous, polluted(-tion), unclean. |
