When a man 'adam (aw-dawm') ruddy i.e. a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.) -- another, + hypocrite, + common sort, low, man (mean, of low degree), person. shall have in the skin `owr (ore) skin (as naked); by implication, hide, leather -- hide, leather, skin. of his flesh basar (baw-sawr') flesh (from its freshness); by extension, body, person; also (by euphem.) the pudenda of a man -- body, (fat, lean) flesh(-ed), kin, (man-)kind, + nakedness, self, skin. a rising s'eth (seh-ayth') an elevation or leprous scab; figuratively, elation or cheerfulness; exaltation in rank or character -- be accepted, dignity, excellency, highness, raise up self, rising. a scab cappachath (sap-pakh'-ath) the mange (as making the hair fall off) -- scab. or bright spot bohereth (bo-heh'-reth) a whitish spot on the skin -- bright spot. and it be in the skin `owr (ore) skin (as naked); by implication, hide, leather -- hide, leather, skin. of his flesh basar (baw-sawr') flesh (from its freshness); by extension, body, person; also (by euphem.) the pudenda of a man -- body, (fat, lean) flesh(-ed), kin, (man-)kind, + nakedness, self, skin. like the plague nega` (neh'-gah) a blow (figuratively, infliction); also (by implication) a spot (concretely, a leprous person or dress) -- plague, sore, stricken, stripe, stroke, wound. of leprosy tsara`ath (tsaw-rah'-ath) leprosy -- leprosy. then he shall be brought bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) unto Aaron 'Aharown (a-har-one') Aharon, the brother of Moses -- Aaron. the priest kohen (ko-hane') literally, one officiating, a priest; also (by courtesy) an acting priest (although a layman) -- chief ruler, own, priest, prince, principal officer. or unto one 'echad (ekh-awd') united, i.e. one; or (as an ordinal) first of his sons ben (bane) a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc. the priests kohen (ko-hane') literally, one officiating, a priest; also (by courtesy) an acting priest (although a layman) -- chief ruler, own, priest, prince, principal officer. |
