Then the priest kohen (ko-hane') literally, one officiating, a priest; also (by courtesy) an acting priest (although a layman) -- chief ruler, own, priest, prince, principal officer. shall consider ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions. and behold if the leprosy tsara`ath (tsaw-rah'-ath) leprosy -- leprosy. have covered kacah (kaw-saw') to plump, i.e. fill up hollows; by implication, to cover (for clothing or secrecy) -- clad self, close, clothe, conceal, cover (self), (flee to) hide, overwhelm. all his flesh basar (baw-sawr') flesh (from its freshness); by extension, body, person; also (by euphem.) the pudenda of a man -- body, (fat, lean) flesh(-ed), kin, (man-)kind, + nakedness, self, skin. he shall pronounce him clean taher (taw-hare') be (make, make self, pronounce) clean, cleanse (self), purge, purify(-ier, self). that hath the plague nega` (neh'-gah) a blow (figuratively, infliction); also (by implication) a spot (concretely, a leprous person or dress) -- plague, sore, stricken, stripe, stroke, wound. it is all turned haphak (haw-fak') to turn about or over; by implication, to change, overturn, return, pervert white laban (law-bawn') white -- white. he is clean tahowr (taw-hore') pure (in a physical, chemical, ceremonial or moral sense) -- clean, fair, pure(-ness). |
