And all that have not fins cnappiyr (sen-ap-peer') a fin (collectively) -- fins. and scales qasqeseth (kas-keh'-seth) a scale (of a fish); hence a coat of mail (as composed of or covered with jointed plates of metal) -- mail, scale. in the seas yam (yawm) from an unused root meaning to roar -- sea (-faring man, (-shore), south, west (-ern, side, -ward). and in the rivers nachal (nakh'-al) a stream, especially a winter torrent; (by implication) a (narrow) valley (in which a brook runs); also a shaft (of a mine) -- brook, flood, river, stream, valley. of all that move sherets (sheh'-rets) a swarm, i.e. active mass of minute animals -- creep(-ing thing), move(-ing creature). in the waters mayim (mah'-yim) water; figuratively, juice; by euphemism, urine, semen -- + piss, wasting, water(-ing, (-course, -flood, -spring). and of any living chay (khah'-ee) age, alive, appetite, (wild) beast, company, congregation, life(-time), live(-ly), living (creature, thing), maintenance, + merry, multitude, + (be) old, quick, raw, running, springing, troop. thing nephesh (neh'-fesh) a breathing creature, i.e. animal of (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental) which is in the waters mayim (mah'-yim) water; figuratively, juice; by euphemism, urine, semen -- + piss, wasting, water(-ing, (-course, -flood, -spring). they shall be an abomination sheqets (sheh'-kets) filth, i.e. (figuratively and specifically) an idolatrous object -- abominable(-tion). unto you |
