For this our heart leb (labe) the heart; also used (figuratively) very widely for the feelings, the will and even the intellect is faint daveh (daw-veh') sick (especially in menstruation) -- faint, menstruous cloth, she that is sick, having sickness. for these things our eyes `ayin (ah'-yin) an eye; by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape) are dim chashak (khaw-shak') to be dark (as withholding light); transitively, to darken -- be black, be (make) dark, darken, cause darkness, be dim, hide. |
