They that be slain chalal (khaw-lawl') pierced (especially to death); figuratively, polluted -- kill, profane, slain (man), slew, (deadly) wounded. with the sword chereb (kheh'-reb) drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement -- axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool. are better towb (tobe) good (as an adjective) in the widest sense; used likewise as a noun than they that be slain chalal (khaw-lawl') pierced (especially to death); figuratively, polluted -- kill, profane, slain (man), slew, (deadly) wounded. with hunger ra`ab (raw-awb') hunger (more or less extensive) -- dearth, famine, + famished, hunger. for these hem (haym) they (only used when emphatic) -- it, like, (how, so) many (soever, more as) they (be), (the) same, so, such, their, them, these, they, those, which, who, whom, withal, ye. pine away zuwb (zoob) to flow freely (as water), i.e. (specifically) to have a (sexual) flux; figuratively, to waste away; also to overflow -- flow, gush out, have a (running) issue, pine away, run. stricken daqar (daw-kar') to stab; by analogy, to starve; figuratively, to revile -- pierce, strike (thrust) through, wound. through for want of the fruits tnuwbah (ten-oo-baw') produce -- fruit, increase. of the field sadeh (saw-deh') from an unused root meaning to spread out; a field (as flat) -- country, field, ground, land, soil, wild. |
