The hands yad (yawd) a hand (the open one (indicating power, means, direction, etc.), of the pitiful rachmaniy (rakh-maw-nee') compassionate -- pitiful. women 'ishshah (ish-shaw') irregular plural, nashiym {naw-sheem'}; a woman have sodden bashal (baw-shal') to boil up; hence, to be done in cooking; figuratively to ripen -- bake, boil, bring forth, roast, seethe, sod (be sodden). their own children yeled (yeh'-led) something born, i.e. a lad or offspring -- boy, child, fruit, son, young man (one). they were their meat barah (baw-raw') to select; also to feed; also to render clear (Eccl. 3:18) -- choose, (cause to) eat, manifest, (give) meat. in the destruction sheber (sheh'-ber) a fracture, figuratively, ruin; specifically, a solution (of a dream) -- affliction, breach, breaking, broken(-footed, -handed), bruise, crashing, destruction, hurt, interpretation, vexation. of the daughter bath (bath) apple (of the eye), branch, company, daughter, first, old, owl, town, village. of my people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. |
