For he doth not afflict `anah (aw-naw') to depress literally or figuratively, transitive or intransitive (in various applications, as follows) willingly leb (labe) the heart; also used (figuratively) very widely for the feelings, the will and even the intellect nor grieve yagah (yaw-gaw') to grieve -- afflict, cause grief, grieve, sorrowful, vex. the children ben (bane) a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc. of men 'iysh (eesh) a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation) |
