Remembering zakar (zaw-kar') to mark (so as to be recognized), i.e. to remember; by implication, to mention mine affliction `oniy (on-ee') depression, i.e. misery -- afflicted(-ion), trouble. and my misery maruwd (maw-rood') an outcast; (abstractly) destitution -- cast out, misery. the wormwood la`anah (lah-an-aw') wormwood (regarded as poisonous, and therefore accursed) -- hemlock, wormwood. and the gall ro'sh (roshe) a poisonous plant, probably the poppy (from its conspicuous head); generally poison (even of serpents) -- gall, hemlock, poison, venom. |
