Then the heaven shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim) air, astrologer, heaven(-s). and the earth 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. and all that is therein shall sing ranan (raw-nan') to creak (or emit a stridulous sound), i.e. to shout (usually for joy) for Babylon Babel (baw-bel') confusion; Babel (i.e. Babylon), including Babylonia and the Babylonian empire -- Babel, Babylon. for the spoilers shadad (shaw-dad') to be burly, i.e. (figuratively) powerful (passively, impregnable); by implication, to ravage -- dead, destroy(-er), oppress, robber, spoil(-er), utterly, (lay) waste. shall come bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) unto her from the north tsaphown (tsaw-fone') hidden, i.e. dark; used only of the north as a quarter (gloomy and unknown) -- north(-ern, side, -ward, wind). saith n'um (neh-oom') an oracle -- (hath) said, saith. the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. |
