A sword chereb (kheh'-reb) drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement -- axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool. is upon their horses cuwc (soos) from an unused root meaning to skip (properly, for joy); a horse (as leaping); also a swallow (from its rapid flight) -- crane, horse(-back, -hoof). and upon their chariots rekeb (reh'-keb) a vehicle; by implication, a team; by extension, cavalry; by analogy a rider, i.e. the upper millstone -- chariot, (upper) millstone, multitude (from the margin), wagon. and upon all the mingled people `ereb (eh'-reb) dusk -- + day, even(-ing, tide), night. that are in the midst tavek (taw'-vek) a bisection, i.e. (by implication) the centre -- among(-st), between, half, (there-,where-), in(-to), middle, mid(-night), midst (among), out (of), through, with(-in). of her and they shall become as women 'ishshah (ish-shaw') irregular plural, nashiym {naw-sheem'}; a woman a sword chereb (kheh'-reb) drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement -- axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool. is upon her treasures 'owtsar (o-tsaw') a depository -- armory, cellar, garner, store(-house), treasure(-house) (-y). and they shall be robbed bazaz (baw-zaz') to plunder -- catch, gather, (take) for a prey, rob(-ber), spoil, take (away, spoil), utterly. |
