I beheld ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions. the earth 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. and lo it was without form tohuw (to'-hoo) a desolation (of surface), i.e. desert; figuratively, a worthless thing; adverbially, in vain -- confusion, empty place, without form, nothing, (thing of) nought, vain, vanity, waste, wilderness. and void bohuw (bo'-hoo) a vacuity, i.e. (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin -- emptiness, void. and the heavens shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim) air, astrologer, heaven(-s). and they had no light 'owr (ore) illumination or (concrete) luminary (in every sense, including lightning, happiness, etc.) -- bright, clear, + day, light (-ning), morning, sun. |
