Thus saith 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. Again there shall be heard shama` (shaw-mah') to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.) in this place maqowm (maw-kome') a standing, i.e. a spot; but used widely of a locality (general or specific); also (figuratively) of a condition (of body or mind) which ye say 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) shall be desolate chareb (khaw-rabe') parched or ruined -- desolate, dry, waste. without man 'adam (aw-dawm') ruddy i.e. a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.) -- another, + hypocrite, + common sort, low, man (mean, of low degree), person. and without beast bhemah (be-hay-maw') a dumb beast; especially any large quadruped or animal (often collective) -- beast, cattle. even in the cities `iyr (eer) or (in the plural) par {awr}; or ayar (Judges 10:4) {aw-yar'}; a city (a place guarded by waking or a watch) in the widest sense (even of a mere encampment or post) -- Ai (from margin), city, court (from margin), town. of Judah Yhuwdah (yeh-hoo-daw') celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory -- Judah. and in the streets chuwts (khoots) abroad, field, forth, highway, more, out(-side, -ward), street, without. of Jerusalem Yruwshalaim (yer-oo-shaw-lah'-im) founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine -- Jerusalem. that are desolate shamem (shaw-mame') to stun (or intransitively, grow numb), i.e. devastate or (figuratively) stupefy (both usually in a passive sense) without man 'adam (aw-dawm') ruddy i.e. a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.) -- another, + hypocrite, + common sort, low, man (mean, of low degree), person. and without inhabitant yashab (yaw-shab') to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry and without beast bhemah (be-hay-maw') a dumb beast; especially any large quadruped or animal (often collective) -- beast, cattle. |
