And hast brought forth yatsa' (yaw-tsaw') to go (causatively, bring) out, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, direct and proxim. thy people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. Israel Yisra'el (yis-raw-ale') he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel. out of the land 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. of Egypt Mitsrayim (mits-rah'-yim) Mitsrajim, i.e. Upper and Lower Egypt -- Egypt, Egyptians, Mizraim. with signs 'owth (oth) a signal, as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc. -- mark, miracle, (en-)sign, token. and with wonders mowpheth (mo-faith') a miracle; by implication, a token or omen -- miracle, sign, wonder(-ed at). and with a strong chazaq (khaw-zawk') strong (usu. in a bad sense, hard, bold, violent) -- harder, hottest, + impudent, loud, mighty, sore, stiff(-hearted), strong(-er). hand yad (yawd) a hand (the open one (indicating power, means, direction, etc.), and with a stretched out natah (naw-taw') to stretch or spread out; by implication, to bend away (including moral deflection); used in a great variety of application (out), stretch (forth, out), take (aside), turn (aside, away), wrest, cause to yield. arm 'ezrowa` (ez-ro'-a) the arm -- arm. and with great gadowl (gaw-dole') great (in any sense); hence, older; also insolent terror mowra' (mo-raw') fear; by implication, a fearful thing or deed -- dread, (that ought to be) fear(-ed), terribleness, terror. |
