Therefore thus saith 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. Behold I will punish paqad (paw-kad') to visit (with friendly or hostile intent); by analogy, to oversee, muster, charge, care for, miss, deposit, etc. Shemaiah Shma`yah (shem-aw-yaw') Jah has heard; Shemajah, the name of twenty-five Israelites -- Shemaiah. the Nehelamite Nechelamiy (nekh-el-aw-mee') dreamed; a Nechelamite, or descendant of Nechlam -- Nehelamite. and his seed zera` (zeh'-rah) seed; figuratively, fruit, plant, sowing-time, posterity -- carnally, child, fruitful, seed(-time), sowing-time. he shall not have a man 'iysh (eesh) a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation) to dwell yashab (yaw-shab') to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry among tavek (taw'-vek) a bisection, i.e. (by implication) the centre -- among(-st), between, half, (there-,where-), in(-to), middle, mid(-night), midst (among), out (of), through, with(-in). this people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. neither shall he behold ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions. the good towb (tobe) good (as an adjective) in the widest sense; used likewise as a noun that I will do `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application for my people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. saith n'um (neh-oom') an oracle -- (hath) said, saith. the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. because he hath taught dabar (daw-bar') perhaps properly, to arrange; but used figuratively (of words), to speak; rarely (in a destructive sense) to subdue rebellion carah (saw-raw') apostasy, crime; figuratively, remission -- continual, rebellion, revolt(-ed), turn away, wrong. against the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. |
