They shall be carried bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) to Babylon Babel (baw-bel') confusion; Babel (i.e. Babylon), including Babylonia and the Babylonian empire -- Babel, Babylon. and there shall they be until the day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), that I visit paqad (paw-kad') to visit (with friendly or hostile intent); by analogy, to oversee, muster, charge, care for, miss, deposit, etc. them saith n'um (neh-oom') an oracle -- (hath) said, saith. the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. then will I bring `alah (aw-law') to ascend, intransitively (be high) or actively (mount); used in a great variety of senses, primary and secondary, literal and figurative (as follow) them up and restore shuwb (shoob) to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively them to this place maqowm (maw-kome') a standing, i.e. a spot; but used widely of a locality (general or specific); also (figuratively) of a condition (of body or mind) |
