For many rab (rab) abundant (in quantity, size, age, number, rank, quality) nations gowy (go'-ee) a foreign nation; hence, a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts -- Gentile, heathen, nation, people. and great gadowl (gaw-dole') great (in any sense); hence, older; also insolent kings melek (meh'-lek) a king -- king, royal. shall serve `abad (aw-bad') to work (in any sense); by implication, to serve, till, (causatively) enslave, etc. themselves of them also and I will recompense shalam (shaw-lam') to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively, to be (causatively, make) completed; by implication, to be friendly; by extension, to reciprocate them according to their deeds po`al (po'-al) an act or work (concretely) -- act, deed, do, getting, maker, work. and according to the works ma`aseh (mah-as-eh') an action (good or bad); generally, a transaction; abstractly, activity; by implication, a product (specifically, a poem) or (generally) property of their own hands yad (yawd) a hand (the open one (indicating power, means, direction, etc.), |
