Therefore pray palal (paw-lal') to judge (officially or mentally); by extension, to intercede, pray -- intreat, judge(-ment), (make) pray(-er, -ing), make supplication. not thou for this people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. neither lift up nasa' (naw-saw') to lift, in a great variety of applications, literal and figurative, absol. and rel. (as follows) a cry rinnah (rin-naw') a creaking (or shrill sound), i.e. shout (of joy or grief) -- cry, gladness, joy, proclamation, rejoicing, shouting, sing(-ing), triumph. or prayer tphillah (tef-il-law') intercession, supplication; by implication, a hymn -- prayer. for them for I will not hear shama` (shaw-mah') to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.) them in the time `eth (ayth) time, especially (adverb with preposition) now, when, etc. that they cry qara' (kaw-raw') to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications) unto me for their trouble ra` (rah) bad or (as noun) evil (natural or moral)one), worse(-st), wretchedness, wrong.
