When he uttereth nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) his voice qowl (kole) from an unused root meaning to call aloud; a voice or sound there is a multitude hamown (haw-mone') a noise, tumult, crowd; also disquietude, wealth -- abundance, company, many, multitude, multiply, noise, riches, rumbling, sounding, store, tumult. of waters mayim (mah'-yim) water; figuratively, juice; by euphemism, urine, semen -- + piss, wasting, water(-ing, (-course, -flood, -spring). in the heavens shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim) air, astrologer, heaven(-s). and he causeth the vapours nasiy' (naw-see') an exalted one, i.e. a king or sheik; also a rising mist -- captain, chief, cloud, governor, prince, ruler, vapour. to ascend `alah (aw-law') to ascend, intransitively (be high) or actively (mount); used in a great variety of senses, primary and secondary, literal and figurative (as follow) from the ends qatseh (kaw-tseh') an extremity -- after, border, brim, brink, edge, end, (in-)finite, frontier, outmost coast, quarter, shore, (out-)side, some, ut(-ter-)most (part). of the earth 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. he maketh `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application lightnings baraq (baw-rawk') lightning; by analogy, a gleam; concretely, a flashing sword -- bright, glitter(-ing sword), lightning. with rain matar (maw-tawr') rain -- rain. and bringeth forth yatsa' (yaw-tsaw') to go (causatively, bring) out, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, direct and proxim. the wind ruwach (roo'-akh) wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension, a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being out of his treasures 'owtsar (o-tsaw') a depository -- armory, cellar, garner, store(-house), treasure(-house) (-y). |
