Then shall he give nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) the rain matar (maw-tawr') rain -- rain. of thy seed zera` (zeh'-rah) seed; figuratively, fruit, plant, sowing-time, posterity -- carnally, child, fruitful, seed(-time), sowing-time. that thou shalt sow zara` (zaw-rah') to sow; figuratively, to disseminate, plant, fructify -- bear, conceive seed, set with sow(-er), yield. the ground 'adamah (ad-aw-maw') soil (from its general redness) -- country, earth, ground, husband(-man) (-ry), land. withal and bread lechem (lekh'-em) food (for man or beast), especially bread, or grain (for making it) -- (shew-)bread, eat, food, fruit, loaf, meat, victuals. of the increase tbuw'ah (teb-oo-aw') income, i.e. produce -- fruit, gain, increase, revenue. of the earth 'adamah (ad-aw-maw') soil (from its general redness) -- country, earth, ground, husband(-man) (-ry), land. and it shall be fat dashen (daw-shane') fat; figuratively, rich, fertile -- fat. and plenteous shamen (shaw-mane') greasy, i.e. gross; figuratively, rich -- fat, lusty, plenteous. in that day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), shall thy cattle miqneh (mik-neh') something bought, i.e. property, but only livestock; abstractly, acquisition -- cattle, flock, herd, possession, purchase, substance. feed ra`ah (raw-aw') to tend a flock; i.e. pasture it; intransitively, to graze; generally to rule; by extension, to associate with (as a friend) in large rachab (raw-khab') to broaden (intransitive or transitive, literal or figurative) -- be an en-(make) large(-ing), make room, make (open) wide. pastures kar (kar) a ram (as full-grown and fat), including a battering-ram (as butting); hence, a meadow (as for sheep); also a pad or camel's saddle (as puffed out) |
