And of every living thing chay (khah'-ee) age, alive, appetite, (wild) beast, company, congregation, life(-time), live(-ly), living (creature, thing), maintenance, + merry, multitude, + (be) old, quick, raw, running, springing, troop. of all flesh basar (baw-sawr') flesh (from its freshness); by extension, body, person; also (by euphem.) the pudenda of a man -- body, (fat, lean) flesh(-ed), kin, (man-)kind, + nakedness, self, skin. two shnayim (shen-ah'-yim) two; also (as ordinal) twofold -- both, couple, double, second, twain, + twelfth, + twelve, + twenty (sixscore) thousand, twice, two. of every sort shalt thou bring bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) into the ark tebah (tay-baw') a box -- ark. to keep them alive chayah (khaw-yaw') to live, whether literally or figuratively; causatively, to revive with thee they shall be male zakar (zaw-kawr') remembered, i.e. a male (of man or animals, as being the most noteworthy sex) -- him, male, man(child, -kind). and female nqebah (nek-ay-baw') female (from the sexual form) -- female. |
