And so thou shalt do `asah (aw-saw') to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application the seventh sheba` (sheh'-bah) a primitive cardinal number; seven (as the sacred full one); also (adverbially) seven times; by implication, a week; by extension, an indefinite number day of the month chodesh (kho'-desh) the new moon; by implication, a month -- month(-ly), new moon. for every one 'iysh (eesh) a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation) that erreth shagah (shaw-gaw') to (cause to) go astray, deceive, err, be ravished, sin through ignorance, (let, make to) wander. and for him that is simple pthiy (peth-ee') silly (i.e. seducible) -- foolish, simple(-icity, one). so shall ye reconcile kaphar (kaw-far') to cover (specifically with bitumen); figuratively, to expiate or condone, to placate or cance the house bayith (bah'-yith) a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, etc.) |
