And I will scatter puwts (poots) to dash in pieces, literally or figuratively (especially to disperse) the Egyptians Mitsrayim (mits-rah'-yim) Mitsrajim, i.e. Upper and Lower Egypt -- Egypt, Egyptians, Mizraim. among the nations gowy (go'-ee) a foreign nation; hence, a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts -- Gentile, heathen, nation, people. and disperse zarah (zaw-raw') to toss about; by implication, to diffuse, winnow -- cast away, compass, disperse, fan, scatter (away), spread, strew, winnow. them among the countries 'erets (eh'-rets) the earth (at large, or partitively a land) -- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, + wilderness, world. and they shall know yada` (yaw-dah') to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially that I am the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. |
